Reviews… hhhmm… are they all they’re cracked up to be?

Here’s the thing. Reviews are great. Social proof counts for a lot.

But what happens when your rating is downgraded because of a false review?

Take for example our FB page. We have 4 outta 5 for a review score. If you look at one of the reviewers it’s from a guy called Enrique.

I have absolutely no idea who he is and why he would even bother to review us.

He’s not a client, not an ex-employee.

He gave us a score of 1. Thanks Enrique.

What do we do? Well obviously ask for other good reviews to get our score back up ; )

We’ve had a number of clients have this exact problem. In our case, it’s not so bad but for retail stores, it can be very problematic.

We’ve complained to Google and FB on our clients’ behalf and this has gotten nowhere.

Our only choice is to try to get more good reviews to squash the false ones.

At the moment we’re using a system called Grade.us
It’s pretty cool and all automated.

Highly recommend you give it a go if asking for reviews is a problem for you.
