The Project
The client already had a website but it looked outdated and was no longer serving the needs of the company.
They needed to present a much more modern image to attract more candidates from across Australia for their clients. They also wanted to leverage themselves as “medical matchmakers” for the employers and candidates and not just any medical recruitment agency.
The client also relayed the following issues they were having with the website.
- They were not able to update their website content on their own and relied on their previous developer. They had to wait for weeks for their developer to get the job done which was not ideal considering they needed to constantly update the job listings on the site.
- They were having issues with mobile and their website was not optimised.
Mettro worked closely with our client to fully understand their brand and get to the bottom of the issues that they were having. In the end, we were able to accomplish the following.
- With our thorough understanding of the brand, their target candidates, and clients, we were able to build a modern-looking website that speaks to their target audience.
- We replaced the outdated design on the old website with emotive photography (which the client commissioned) that shows the kind of life the candidates have when they find their ideal job with the company’s help.
- We created a streamlined and eye-catching banner for a modern look.
The website was able to convey the new brand messaging of the medical matchmakers and we helped our client tweak their logo (the colour and font) to make it more suitable for the online space as well as:
- We improved the user experience on the front end.
- We built simpler navigation so that both job seekers and employers could easily find what they are looking for.
- We improved the customer experience of the search field to make it easier to search for jobs.
- We placed all calls to action clearly front and centre with easy to fill in forms to ensure high levels of conversion.
- We made it easier to apply for jobs on the website
- We also resolved the issue of not being able to edit the web content. We built their website on WordPress which allowed changes to be made easily across the entire website.
- We designed a responsive, mobile-friendly website that works smoothly on all devices.
- We integrated the recruitment software they were using and so it looks consistent with the rest of the site.
