Website Support & Maintenance

Someone's Got Your Back. Even at the Worst Possible Moment.

Some of our support clients have been with us for over a decade. There's a reason for that.

A few weeks ago, a critical WordPress plugin was flagged with a security vulnerability. Before any of our support clients had even heard about it, we’d already patched every one of their sites.

Last year, a client had a major event launch and discovered at the last minute that two speakers had changed and the website still had the old details. They called us. The site was updated before the audience noticed.

That’s what support looks like when someone’s actually paying attention. Not a ticket queue. Just call us. A team that knows your site, knows your business, and moves fast when it counts.

But most of the time, support isn’t about emergencies. It’s the regular stuff: updating content, patching plugins, checking that the site still works properly across new browsers and devices, making sure the contact form hasn’t quietly broken, keeping everything secure and current. The work that stops small problems from becoming big ones.

What's Covered

Technical support and troubleshooting. Content updates and changes. Plugin and CMS updates. Security monitoring and patching. Monthly browser and device testing. Design and UX support when your site needs a refresh. Liaison with hosting providers and third-party services. Analytics review and recommendations. And a direct line to senior people who understand websites, not a generic help desk.

We Support Sites We Didn't Build

Your website doesn’t have to be a Mettro build for us to look after it. If it’s running on a platform we can work with (and that covers most of them), we’ll take it on. We’ll assess the state of the site, let you know if anything needs immediate attention, and take it from there.

How It Works

You email or call with what you need. Our support manager assesses the task, schedules it by priority, and gets it done. Standard requests are completed within three working days. High priority within two. Critical issues get someone on it immediately.

Packages

We offer support packages based on monthly hours, tailored to how much your site needs. Some businesses need a few hours a month for content updates and general maintenance. Others need more for ongoing development and design work. Custom arrangements are available for sites with specific requirements.

The best way to figure out what fits is a conversation.

About Mettro

Over two decades. More than 6,000 projects. Brisbane-based. Senior people doing the work, not handing it off to juniors. Some of our support relationships are older than some agencies. That doesn’t happen by accident.

Common Questions

Do you only support WordPress sites?

No. WordPress is the most common, but we support sites on other platforms too. If you're not sure whether your site is something we can help with, ask. We'll be upfront with you about what we can and can't do.

What if my site was built by someone else?

That's fine. We take on sites we didn't build. We'll do an initial assessment to understand the state of things, flag anything that needs urgent attention, and go from there.

What's the minimum commitment?

Support contracts run on a 12-month term with monthly invoicing. If you need to make changes or end the contract, we ask for three months' written notice.

What happens if something urgent breaks outside business hours?

Call us. Urgent work outside standard hours attracts a 50% loading, but the point is that someone answers and gets on it. Critical issues don't wait until Monday.

Can I use support hours for new features or design changes?

For smaller tasks, absolutely. Support hours cover content updates, design tweaks, new functionality, and technical investigations. For larger pieces of work, we'll scope it separately so you know what's involved before anything starts.

How do I log a request?

Email marketing@mettro.com.au or call (07) 3334 8320. Our support manager assesses, schedules, and keeps you updated.
