Boosting posts isn't a strategy. Neither is hoping the algorithm figures it out.
Facebook and Instagram have more data on your customers than any other platform. Where they live, what they buy, what they browse at midnight, what makes them stop scrolling. The advertising potential is genuinely massive.
Which is exactly why most campaigns waste money on it.
The business owner hits “Boost Post” because Facebook told them to. Or a campaign gets set up with broad targeting, the same three images run for six months, and it gets called ‘brand awareness’ when nothing converts. The monthly report shows 40,000 impressions and the business owner has no idea if a single person actually did anything.
The platform isn’t the problem. The approach is.
Meta’s algorithm is built to find your customers for you. But it needs the right inputs. The right creative. The right messaging. Enough variety for it to learn what works and who responds. Give it that, and it’s frighteningly good at putting your business in front of people who are ready to buy. Give it one boosted post and a prayer, and you’re just subsidising Mark Zuckerberg’s next yacht.
What a properly built Meta campaign looks like
Creative does the targeting.
This has changed. The algorithm now uses how people interact with your ads to decide who else should see them. The images, the video, the words, the emotional hooks all tell the system who your customer is. One static image running for months teaches it nothing. Varied creative across different angles gives it something to work with.
Five angles, not one.
Every campaign needs creative that comes at the problem from different directions. Social proof (what your customers say about you). Problem-agitation (the thing keeping your customer up at night). Transformation (the before and after). Comparison (what happens if they do nothing). Demonstration (your product or service in action). Each angle reaches different people at different moments. That’s the variety the algorithm needs.
The scroll stops in three seconds or it doesn't stop at all.
People aren’t searching on Meta. They’re scrolling. Your ad has about three seconds to earn attention before a thumb flicks past it. The creative needs to interrupt without looking like an ad. Phone-shot footage of a real job often outperforms a polished studio shoot, because it doesn’t trigger the part of the brain that ignores advertising.
Retargeting brings back the ones who weren't ready.
Someone visits your website, looks at a product, reads a page, but doesn’t get in touch. Meta lets you show them a different message a few days later. A testimonial. A case study. A specific offer. This is where warm traffic turns into actual enquiries.
You see it before it runs.
LaunchMate, our campaign management platform, shows you the targeting, the creative, the copy, and how the ads will look on Facebook and Instagram before anything launches. You approve it. Nothing runs without your say-so.
Reporting that makes sense.
Not impressions. Not reach. The things you care about: how many enquiries came in, what they cost, which creative drove them, and what’s being done to get more. Plain language, no acronyms.

How We Work
It starts with your business, your customers, and what you’re actually trying to achieve. From there, the campaign is built: audiences researched, creative produced across multiple angles, copy written, and the whole thing presented in LaunchMate for you to review and approve.
After launch, campaigns are actively managed. Creative is tested and refreshed. Budget moves from what’s underperforming to what’s delivering. The algorithm learns, and so do we. You get reporting each month that actually tells you something useful: what worked, what didn’t, and what’s changing.

Common Questions
How much do I need to spend on Meta ads?
Depends on your goals and your market. Some businesses see results from a media budget of $500 a month paid directly to Meta. The right number comes out of the strategy work. One thing we can tell you: a well-targeted campaign with strong creative will always outperform a big budget pointed at the wrong audience.
Is boosting posts the same as running ads?
No. Boosting a post uses Facebook's simplest targeting and gives you almost no control over who sees it, how it's shown, or what happens next. A properly built campaign uses the full advertising platform: custom audiences, retargeting, creative testing, conversion tracking, and ongoing management. The difference in results is significant.
Do I need professional photos and videos?
I tried Facebook ads and it didn't work.
How fast will I see results?
Meta campaigns can start generating enquiries within the first week. There's a learning phase where the algorithm figures out who responds best to your ads, which typically settles within two to three weeks. Performance improves from there as creative is tested and refined.
